The Experience Christendom Summer Program (ECSP) is a wonderful opportunity for rising high school seniors to see what Christendom has to offer. In the course of one week, participants are immersed in the academics, spiritual life, and Catholic culture of Christendom. Participants attend classes taught by faculty members, go to Mass together, and partake in many of the activities that Christendom students regularly enjoy, such as hiking, performing, kayaking, attending barn dances, playing sports, and learning to swing dance. Many students leave ECSP with Christendom at the top of their college list.

“The week-long experience of enthralling classes and fun activities motivated me to apply to Christendom College as soon as I returned home,” remarked ECSP participant Joseph Burns. “I truly feel drawn to this college’s community, and I hope to be able to spend four important years here in a search for truth and knowledge.”

Evidently, those who attended ECSP this year were deeply impressed with what Christendom has to offer. Of the 280 students who attended ECSP over the summer, a record breaking 143 attendees have already applied to Christendom. The admissions team offered a special October 1 early application deadline specifically for applicants who attended ECSP. The regular early application deadline for prospective students is December 1, but those who applied by the October 1 ECSP deadline will be able to find out their acceptance status and financial aid package during the fall instead of waiting until Christmas.

There are other admissions perks for ECSP attendees as well. ECSP attendees who utilized the October 1 early application deadline, and who visit the campus in the fall, are granted a $1000 scholarship once they attend the college. While ECSP is an excellent way for students to learn more about Christendom, nothing beats coming to see Christendom in full swing when the entire student body is on campus.

The Christendom community looks forward to welcoming back ECSP attendees to campus as visitors, and hopefully as students next fall. If anyone is interested in attending ECSP in 2020, registration will begin in December 1, 2019. To learn more about the Best Week Ever, visit this page.
