Christendom College will host a live Virtual Open House on Monday, April 27, from 1-3:00 pm EDT. Featuring presentations from college president Dr. Timothy O’Donnell and the college’s admissions team, the event will offer students and their families the opportunity to learn more about why so many Catholic families are selecting Christendom as their college of choice.
“For many high school students and their families, now is a crucial time to learn more about colleges and what they have to offer. We want to make sure these families are still able to learn more about our education and what sets Christendom apart from other schools, all from the comfort of home,” says director of admissions Sam Phillips. “While nothing beats visiting and experiencing our campus in person, we hope this Virtual Open House helps answer questions interested students and their families have about Christendom and gives them a taste of all that we have to offer.”
Students and families that sign up for the Virtual Open House will be invited to an exclusive online webinar, powered by Zoom. The event will begin at 1:00 pm EDT, with Phillips providing an introduction. Following his introduction, college president Dr. Timothy O’Donnell will deliver a welcome address to guests and discuss Christendom’s unique mission as a Catholic educational apostolate.
At 1:30 pm, vice president for enrollment Tom McFadden will offer a presentation on alumni careers and the importance of choosing a Catholic college. Phillips will return for a presentation on financial aid, studying abroad, and extracurricular activities at 2:15 pm, and then Phillips and McFadden will take questions to close out the event.
For high school seniors who have never physically visited campus, the college is offering them a $300 tuition waiver for the fall, should they choose to attend.
Guests are encouraged to also take a virtual tour of campus and can do so now at christendom.edu.
