Christendom College will host two open house events on campus this spring – February 20 and April 17 – and begin hosting high school students for day and overnight visits in early February.
High school seniors across America are currently discerning their future college choices this spring, but many are finding it hard to find colleges hosting in-person visits. Although there is much information available online, and virtual visits are offered by many colleges, there is nothing quite like an in-person visit to solidify a college decision.
“While many college campuses remained closed last fall to visitors, we remained open with great success and were able to welcome a record number of visitors to campus,” says director of admissions Sam Phillips.
“Visiting families regularly expressed how grateful they were that we were still offering campus visits as that plays such a critical role in determining whether or not a college meets a family’s priorities and expectations. The college decision is hard enough as it is, and we want to make sure prospective students have ample opportunities to discover firsthand if Christendom is right for them.”
This semester, students and their families will be able to attend an open house on Saturday, February 20 or Saturday, April 17, where they will be able to tour campus, meet admissions counselors, and experience a Christendom class — all in-person.
For families looking for individual visit opportunities, starting on February 1, the admissions office will be offering day and overnights visits every week that classes in session.
