Christendom College will welcome prospective students and their families to campus during multiple special visit days this spring, including two Open House events on February 26 and April 30. The college’s Admissions Office has also begun accepting visit requests from prospective students interested in making day or overnight visits during the months of February, March, and April, giving prospective students numerous opportunities to experience what Christendom has to offer.

The college’s Open House events have been growing in popularity in recent years, with hundreds of visitors attending these informative events each semester.

“We hosted a record number of visitors on campus this past fall as more families discover and look to Christendom as a standard for authentic Catholic education and a college where their children will learn the Truth, live the faith, and thrive as Catholics,” says Director of Admissions Sam Phillips. “Christendom offers a unique and challenging education, which is not for everyone. The visit experience plays a key part in the college discernment process. We look forward to welcoming prospective students and their families to campus this spring as they determine whether Christendom is the right fit for them.”

Held this year on Saturday, February 26, and Saturday, April 30, the Open House events will feature formal presentations from College President Dr. Timothy O’Donnell and other members of the staff, classroom experiences, and tours of campus. These days offer a perfect opportunity to learn more about Christendom’s unique educational apostolate, all during one of the most beautiful seasons in the Shenandoah Valley.

In addition to these formal Admissions events, the college offers day and overnight visits every week throughout the semester. For these visits, prospective students are paired with a current student who serves as a host during the stay. Prospective students can experience life as a current student at Christendom observing classes, going to Mass, enjoying meals with the school community, and attending any extracurricular events offered at that time, as well as staying in the residence halls.
