Christendom College recently began accepting applications for the fall of 2023, allowing students eager to avoid the waiting list to get a jumpstart on their acceptance to the college.
“Over the past decade, we’ve seen our enrollment grow by 39%,” says Director of Admissions Sam Phillips. “This past year we had one of our most competitive admissions recruitment years and had to implement a waiting list in December. Because we expect similar levels of interest this upcoming year, I’d recommend students apply early on this fall.”
Students who apply by the college’s December 1 Early Action Deadline will receive a non-binding response by Christmas. These students can then apply for need-based financial aid, learn about merit-scholarships, and compete in the Padre Pio Full-Tuition Scholarship Competition on March 25, 2023, if they meet eligibility requirements.
With today’s secularized culture only becoming more challenging for today’s Catholics, there has never been a better time to consider Christendom. The college’s vibrant and joy-filled Catholic culture, faithful to the Magisterium, strengthens the faith of students, and instills in them the confidence to understand, defend, and live the truths of the Faith.
The college’s rigorous liberal arts education also helps prepare students for great success after college, with 97.5% of the college’s Class of 2021 employed or in graduate school within 6 months of graduation — 12.5% higher than the national average. In addition, the college’s culture has helped inspire numerous vocations since 1977, including 103 priests, 51 sisters, 5 brothers, 2 transitional deacons, 1 permanent deacon, 2 consecrated virgins, 11 men currently studying for the priesthood, and 537 alumna-to-alumnus marriages.
