Christendom College will welcome prospective students and their families to campus during multiple special visit days this fall, including two Open House events, on September 10 and November 19 respectively, and a Homeschool Visit Day on October 29. These events, which feature presentations, classroom experiences, and campus tours, will provide prospective students with the special opportunity to experience Christendom’s time-tested education and on-campus Catholic culture in person.

“When considering a college, it is hard to overstate the importance of making a campus visit,” says Director of Admissions Sam Phillips. “I invite and encourage interested parents and students to schedule a visit this fall to understand better Christendom’s unique mission and see how this time-tested education helps students learn the Truth, live the Faith, and thrive as Catholics.”

Last year’s Homeschool Visit Day featured guest presenter Patrick Reilly, president of the Cardinal Newman Society, and was one of the most-well attended visit events of the year. With 60% of Christendom’s student body coming from a homeschool background, this day is a perfect opportunity to learn why Christendom, with its challenging liberal arts curriculum and vibrant Christocentric culture, is a top destination for homeschooled students. Spots fill up quickly, so families are encouraged to register soon.

In addition to these formal Admissions events, Christendom offers day and overnight visits every week that classes are in session between September 1 and December 2. For these visits, prospective students are paired with a current student who serves as a host during the stay. Prospective students can experience life as a current student at Christendom observing classes, going to Mass, enjoying lunch with the whole school community, and attending any extracurricular events offered at that time, as well as staying in the residence halls if it is an overnight visit.
