Plans are now being made for further enhancements, including an expansion to the existing Madonna Hall faculty offices and a new men’s residence hall.

With the construction of the college’s new Christ the King Chapel nearing completion, Christendom is already looking ahead toward the future of the college’s Front Royal, Virginia, campus. Plans are now being made for further enhancements, including an expansion to the existing Madonna Hall faculty offices and a new men’s residence hall.

The expansion to the existing Madonna Hall faculty offices will provide the college’s faculty much-needed space while also providing students with more places to receive personalized, individual attention from their professors. As part of the college’s most recent strategic plan, Christendom committed to hiring additional professors to ensure small class sizes and adequate time for mentorship of students inside and outside of the classroom. These hires necessitated a further expansion of the Madonna Hall office space.

In addition, plans are being drawn up for a new men’s residence hall as well. The new hall, currently in the early concept phase, will provide the men on campus with even more space to live, study, and grow together as students.

These plans come in addition to the converting of the existing Christ the King Chapel into a Cultural Center, which will begin in early phases shortly after the new Chapel is dedicated. The newly converted building will be able to host lectures, dances, and theatrical productions once completed, providing the college community with a new space to celebrate and learn together on campus.
