Christendom College’s application for fall 2024 opened on August 1, giving eager students the opportunity to help ensure their admittance to the college next year. Christendom has reached its enrollment cap and has been implementing a waiting list system for the past several years, which means not all qualified applicants are able to gain entrance into Christendom’s freshman class.
“We had our strongest admissions season ever this year, in spite of a nationwide enrollment decline,” says Director of Admissions Sam Phillips. “This was our third consecutive year with a waiting list. With interest in our challenging Catholic liberal arts education at an all-time high, we encourage interested students to apply soon to increase their chances of gaining admittance and avoiding the waiting list.
Students who apply by the college’s December 1 Early Action Deadline will receive a non-binding response by Christmas. These students can then apply for need-based financial aid, learn about merit scholarships, and apply to compete in the Padre Pio Full-Tuition Scholarship Competition on April 6 if they meet eligibility requirements.
