Christendom College will welcome prospective students and their families to campus for three special Saturday visit events this fall, including two Open Houses on September 21 and November 23, and a Homeschool Visit Day on October 12.

“Christendom provides a joyful and authentically Catholic education and culture that sets it apart,” says Director of Admissions Sam Phillips. “There is no better way to appreciate Christendom’s distinctive mission and understand why so many students choose to come here than to visit our campus and experience it firsthand. The Shenandoah Valley in the autumn is especially beautiful and we invite interested students and their families to register for one of our Saturday visit events to see how Christendom helps students learn the Truth, live the Faith, and thrive as Catholics.”

Each Open House provides a comprehensive introduction to Christendom’s mission, curriculum, and Catholic identity, as well as insights into alumni outcomes and how the college prepares students to be successful in their jobs and vocation through its unique Education for a Lifetime course and other personalized resources Attendees will have the chance to hear talks from College President Dr. George Harne, VP for Enrollment Tom McFadden, and Director of Admissions Sam Phillips, tour the campus, and participate in a class with a faculty member.

The Homeschool Visit Day on October 12 is a particularly valuable opportunity for homeschooling families to discover why Christendom is a top choice for homeschooled students. The day will showcase the college’s challenging liberal arts curriculum and vibrant Christocentric culture.

Beyond these formal Saturday events, Christendom offers day and overnight visits each week while classes are in session, from September 3 through December 6. During these visits, prospective students are paired with current students who serve as hosts. This allows visitors to experience life at Christendom by sitting in on classes, attending Mass, enjoying meals with the school community, participating in extracurricular activities, and, for overnight stays, staying in the residence halls.
