Christendom will welcome alumni back to campus for the college’s annual Homecoming Weekend, which will take place this year from October 4-6. This three-day event for alumni and their families will feature special reunions for the classes of 1984, 1994, 2004, and 2014, with registration now open through September 29.

Homecoming Weekend will kick off on Friday, October 4, with a community Holy Hour in the college’s new Christ the King Chapel from 6:00-7:00 p.m., followed by a dynamic and informative journey through the early years of Christendom, featuring a select panel of Christendom alumni and guests. While at the event, alumni will be able to socialize and reminisce on the events that forged Christendom into what it is today.

On Saturday, the Alumni Family Fun Day will be held from 12-5:00 p.m. on the field in front of Old Chapel Hall, with bounce houses, pony rides, face painting, games, and grilled food available at family-friendly pricing. Varsity sports games will take place at the same time across the street on Crusader Fields, with men’s and women’s soccer playing back-to-back games.

During the afternoon, the college will also host a wine tasting in Old Chapel Hall for the first time as well. For alumni celebrating their 30th and 40th anniversaries, there will also be a privately catered luncheon with the college’s new president, George A. Harne, Ph.D., from 12:30-2:30 p.m. in Regina Coeli Hall.

In the evening, class reunions will be held for the Classes of 1984, 1994, 2004, and 2014 from 5-8:00 p.m. in St. John the Evangelist Library. Immediately following, the Warren H. Carroll Alumni Reception will be held in the library, welcoming fellow alumni from all eras of the college and celebrating the 20-year anniversary of the dedication of the library.

While this event is taking place, the Student Homecoming Dance will be hosted in the St. Lawrence Commons from 8-11:30 p.m., featuring the return of the Yesterday Swing Orchestra. All alumni are welcome to attend.

On Sunday, Homecoming weekend will close with the annual East vs. West football game from 1:00-2:30 p.m. on Crusader Fields, where students and alumni can cheer on their respective regions.

Register here. Early bird registration will close on September 22.
