High school juniors can now apply online for Christendom College’s highly anticipated “Best Week Ever” summer program. Entering its 27th year in Summer 2025, the Best Week Ever is the most popular, well-attended, and highly ranked pre-college summer program of its kind. With 85% of the spots already filled, interested high school juniors should take immediate action.
The Admissions Office offered an Early Bird Application during November which filled most of the total spots – and all of the slots for female participants – for this year’s five one-week sessions, leaving only a small number of spots for additional male applicants to fill. For female students interested in adding their names to the waiting list, the Admissions Office encourages them to still apply since dropouts often occur in the time leading up to the start of the program.
During each weeklong session of the Best Week Ever, students are immersed in Christendom’s academic, social, cultural, and spiritual life. Participants take four classes taught by Christendom faculty, exploring philosophy, theology, history, and literature. They also attend daily Mass and adoration and enjoy various recreational activities, including swimming, canoeing on the Shenandoah River, hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains, playing dodgeball, and performing in a talent show. Participants also engage in a parliamentary-style debate and learn to contra and swing dance. These experiences are framed by the joy of authentic Catholic culture, fostering lasting friendships among participants.
“It was honestly one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had,” said Annalise of Louisiana, who attended in the summer of 2024. “The Catholic culture that surrounds Christendom is something that I didn’t even know I needed until I experienced it, and it truly changed me. I have never been surrounded by so many other kids who have such a strong faith and actually live their lives as a Catholic should, and it definitely changed me… The experience I got at Christendom is something that I will never forget.”
