Christendom College will welcome prospective students and their families to campus this spring semester for several special visit opportunities, including two Open House events on Saturday, February 22, and Saturday, April 26. Additionally, the Admissions Office is now accepting requests for day and overnight visits during February, March, and April, offering numerous chances for prospective students to experience life at Christendom firsthand.
The popularity of the college’s Open House events has grown significantly in recent years, with hundreds of visitors attending each semester.
“Interest in Christendom continues to rise,” says Director of Admissions Sam Phillips. “With a record number of applications for the fall 2025 semester and our Best Week Ever high school summer program spots already almost entirely filled, there has never been a better time to visit and see what sets Christendom apart. Families are looking for an educational experience that will help students learn the Truth, live the Faith, and thrive as Catholics during the college years and beyond, and that is a big draw to Christendom. The visit experience presents an essential step in the college discernment process as they see Christendom’s mission in action.”
The Open House events will feature presentations from College President George A. Harne, Ph.D., as well as admissions staff members speaking on alumni outcomes, financial aid offerings, and an overview of what sets Christendom apart from other good Catholic colleges. Visitors will also attend a theology class and receive a guided tour of the campus. These events provide the perfect chance to learn more about Christendom’s distinctive educational mission, all while enjoying the Shenandoah Valley’s breathtaking beauty in the springtime.
For those unable to attend an Open House, Christendom also offers personalized day and overnight visits throughout the semester. During these visits, prospective students are paired with current students who act as hosts, providing a glimpse into life at Christendom. Visitors observe classes, attend Mass, share meals with the campus community, enjoy extracurricular activities, and stay in the residence halls to get a full sense of the Christendom experience.
