Christendom’s Christ the King Chapel is now home to four newly installed stained-glass windows, further enriching the beauty of the sacred space.

The newly added windows, now gracing the upper nave of the chapel, depict St. Bernadette, St. Irene of Thessalonica, St. Monica, and St. Augustine — saints known for their powerful witness to the Catholic faith. In a moment of historic significance, the St. Monica and St. Augustine windows were both installed on May 8, the day of Pope Leo XIV’s election, whose Augustinian background is already playing a significant role in his papacy.

These latest additions follow the installation of four other windows earlier this year, with additional windows expected later this summer as the chapel moves closer to its completed artistic vision.

Each window in the chapel was meticulously designed and crafted by the artisans at Beyer Studio, a nationally recognized firm based in Philadelphia that has been instrumental in the chapel project from the beginning. Known for their work on sacred spaces throughout the country, the team at Beyer Studio has blended restoration and innovation, creating new stained-glass windows that honor the Church’s artistic tradition while complementing the chapel’s architectural beauty.

With this latest installment, the chapel continues its progress toward completion. Once finished, over 100 stained-glass windows will fill the space, depicting saints, biblical scenes, and the deep patrimony of the Catholic faith.

Since its dedication in 2023, Christ the King Chapel has stood as the spiritual heart of Christendom’s campus. These ongoing additions continue to fulfill the college’s commitment to beauty as it seeks to “restore all things in Christ.”
