Christendom College mourns the passing of alumnus Felice Litterio ’19, who died unexpectedly on March 25, 2024. A dear husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend, known for his kind, gentle nature, fierce loyalty, generosity, and deep faith, Litterio was 27.

Litterio was born near Christendom in Falls Church, Virginia, later following in his sister, Elise’s, footsteps in attending the college. While at Christendom, he majored in history and was president of the college’s boxing club. He met his wife, Julia, at Christendom, with both graduating from the college in 2019. A proud Eagle Scout, he also worked for Dayside Construction as a crew leader following graduation.

Litterio is survived by his parents and by his loving wife, Julia, his precious daughters, Theadora and Seraphina, his siblings, Elise Litterio Freeman, Carmen, Lucia, and Mario, Elise’s husband, Patrick Freeman, Jr., and their children, Chiara, Patrick III, and Nicodemus, and by his grandparents, Felix Litterio and Julia Leach Cipriano.

The Litterio family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 4, at St. John the Baptist Church in Front Royal, Virginia, with a Funeral Mass celebrated the next day at 10:00 am. A private burial will follow the funeral.

Litterio will be deeply missed by the entire Christendom community and all are encouraged to pray for his soul and for his family at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to support Julia and her daughters here.

May his soul, and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
