We’ve all listened to music. It’s on our radios, our phones, and more. We sing along to the songs we love, and even perform in front of our friends and families sometimes. But what about turning this love into a living? That’s exactly what alumna Marie Miller has done, taking her love of literature and beauty, which grew at Christendom, and channeling that with her immense talent into a successful music career. Miller returned to Christendom on March 13 to talk about how she’s found her success at the latest “Life on Tap” networking event, giving insights and providing inspiration to a packed house in St. Kilian’s Café.
Miller stopped by campus while in the middle of a tour with the hit group Five for Fighting, giving generously of her time with the students. While she discussed her career and how Christendom helped her, she also performed a selection of her songs, giving students a taste of what a Marie Miller concert is like.
