Christendom’s Crusader Chamber Orchestra will bring the college’s most talented classical musicians together for its annual spring concert on Saturday, April 27. The concert, featuring performances of both classical and contemporary pieces, will begin at 3:30 p.m. in the crypt of the college’s Christ the King Chapel.

The Crusader Chamber Orchestra performs two concerts a year, once in the fall and once in the spring, with pieces usually focusing on these respective seasons. The group, which features violinists, cellists, flutists, percussion players, and more, practices for these concerts throughout the academic year, resulting in beautifully arranged performances.

Christendom’s talented classical musicians have performed at talent nights and concerts over the college’s 40-year history. Recently, the growing number of musicians coming to the college as class sizes swelled resulted in students forming a formal Chamber Orchestra in 2015, giving students an outlet to hone their skills, play with others, and showcase their talents for the entire Christendom community.
