Christendom College will celebrate its eighth annual Giving Day on Tuesday, April 29, uniting alumni and parents in support of the Carroll Fund — a key initiative that helps the next generation of Christendom students thrive.

The college’s annual Giving Day has proven to be a tremendous success, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars over the past seven years. The Carroll Fund directly benefits current students by supporting financial aid, counseling and spiritual development, career and leadership services, athletics, and faculty and staff salaries.

For the first time, Giving Day will include an in-person celebration in the college’s hometown of Front Royal, Virginia. Beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Water Street Venue — a two-story location featuring lounge seating, an outdoor patio, and more — the event will feature live music, free food and beverages, and an interactive trivia night hosted by Professor Mike Brown. Alumni across the country can also join the fun via livestream, bringing the Christendom spirit coast to coast.

In addition to the official college event, an alumni party will also be held at 2 Silos Brewery in Manassas, Virginia. Hosted by Gio Hudson ’96, the event will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will include appetizers and beers on tap for purchase.

Each year, Giving Day highlights a specific theme to engage and unite alumni. This year, the college will spotlight several key areas of impact made possible through donor support, while encouraging every graduating class to go “all in” for the Carroll Fund and support the college’s mission.

One of only a few colleges in the U.S. that refuses federal funding, Christendom relies entirely on generous benefactors to provide a faithful, time-tested liberal arts education — forming the future Catholic leaders so needed by the Church and society.
