Mr. Tom McFadden
Vice President, Enrollment & Student Success
Tom has been the VP for Enrollment since July 2014. He is responsible for enrollment management and retention issues, career development, accommodation services, as well as general student satisfaction and success. He served as the Director of Admissions since May 2004, and before that, he was the College’s Director of Public Relations since 2000. He holds a BA and MA in Theology from Christendom College and an MBA Essentials Certificate from Shenandoah University. He and his wife, Amanda, are the parents of eleven children (8 girls, 3 boys), five of whom have graduated from Christendom, with one more currently enrolled as a freshman.

Mr. Sam Phillips
Director of Admissions
Sam has been the Director of Admissions since July 2014. Prior to that, he served as Director of Admissions at The Avalon School in MD, as well as a teacher, baseball coach, and dramatic productions organizer. In his role at Christendom, he works personally with prospective students and parents, helping them understand Christendom’s Catholic mission and distinctive offerings and guiding them through the admissions process. He and his wife, Katie, are both graduates of Christendom and are blessed with seven children.

Mr. Johnny Hand
Admissions & Recruitment Coordinator
Born and raised in Newnan, Georgia, Johnny graduated from Christendom College with a BA in Mathematics and joined the Admissions Team in May of 2026. While a student at Christendom College, Johnny was privileged to be involved in numerous activities and clubs ranging from Men’s Varsity Soccer to musicals with the Christendom Players. Johnny is excited to help you along the Admissions journey and share the authentically Catholic culture Christendom has to offer.

Mrs. Nancy Bauer
Database Specialist
Nancy graduated from Christendom College with a BA in Philosophy and an MA in Theological Studies. She worked for Christendom immediately after graduation in various positions in the Admissions, Student Life and Athletics Departments. After leaving the College, Nancy and her husband Guy have been blessed to live close to Christendom while raising their family. She rejoined the Admissions Office in June 2025 and is eager to serve prospective students and their families!

Miss Meaghan Pierce
Best Week Ever and Visit Coordinator
Meaghan graduated from Christendom and joined the Admissions team in May of 2025. As a student, Meaghan majored in philosophy with a minor in theology. She participated in many different student organizations, including the Christendom Chamber Ensemble and the Chester-Belloc Debate Society, and was a tutor for the Writing Center and the Classics department. Her favorite role, however, was serving as a member of the Women’s Formation Committee in her senior year. Meaghan is the Visit Coordinator and Best Week Ever Coordinator for Admissions, and she is excited to help young students visit and experience what makes Christendom so unique.

Miss Helen Davis
Admissions Counselor
Helen is an English Language and Literature major from Christendom College. During her time at Christendom, Helen served as editor-in-chief for Metanoia magazine, head manager for the Sacred Grounds coffee shop, and worked as an Assistant Writer for the Christendom Marketing Office. Helen now serves as Christendom’s Admissions Counselor, assisting prospective students and their families by answering their questions, helping them understand Christendom’s distinctive mission and offerings, and guiding them through the admissions process. It is her goal to interact with students and parents on a personal level and share with them her enthusiasm for Christendom’s mission of restoring all things in Christ.

Miss Bernadette Rodriguez
Admissions Counselor
Bernadette joined the Admissions team full-time after graduating from Christendom in May of 2025 with a BA in Theology. As a student, Bernadette worked for the Admissions office both as a student ambassador and as an intern her senior year. She also worked as a tutor and student mentor with Christendom’s Student Support Services Department. Outside of her academic pursuits and various student jobs, Bernadette participated in Christendom’s choir and volunteered with the Holy Rood Guild, cleaning our beloved chapel. Bernadette now serves as an Admissions Counselor, assisting prospective students and their families by providing an introduction to Christendom and all that it offers, ready to answer their questions as they navigate college discernment. She aims to connect with students and parents and acquaint them with Christendom’s unique mission as they determine the best fit.
