“From everyone to whom much has been given, much will be required; and from the one to whom much has been entrusted, even more will be demanded.” – Lk 12:48
Christendom College students know that they are receiving an incredible educational opportunity at Christendom – and they want to give back. Click here to support the mission trips.
The College provides its students with ample opportunity to put their faith into practice by serving others and embodying the spiritual and corporal works of mercy. Students have the chance to serve in a variety of ways, including:
- Local Community Service: Volunteering at a local food pantry, assisting at a local pro-life and crisis pregnancy center, and visiting the elderly in nursing homes.
- Mission Trips: Embarking on mission trips during Christmas and Spring breaks to assist communities in need, both domestically and internationally.
- Spiritual Outreach & Evangelization: Praying outside abortion clinics in Northern Virginia to bear witness to the sanctity of life and sharing the faith door-to-door with ministries like the Legion of Mary.
- Student-Led Initiatives: Students take the lead in organizing a wide range of service projects to address local and campus needs.
